00283，00285，00290，00287 Possible 

causes 

［Note］Code will be set when sensor has recognizable open or short 

problem. 

［Method］  Poor sensor connection, coil or wiring harness short, defective 

sensor signal circuit in ABS ECU。 

●Sensor connector or coil open 

●Sensor coil short 

●Sensor connector or harness short 

to ground or power 

●Defective ABS ECU sensor signal 

circuit.

Check electrical harness between 

ABS ECU and sensor 

Remove ABS ECU connector. 

Check resistance between following

terminals. Is resistance within

1.0~1.3 KOhm? 

 

Wiggling sensor wiring harness and

connector while mearing resistance.

LF: 1-2 

RF: 19-20 

LR: 5-6 

RR: 22-23 

 

Normal 

Replace ABS ECU

Possible causes 

［Note］  When ECU software programming code is not consistent with ABS 

harness pin, code will be set. 

●Pin connection error in ABS harness. 

●ABS ECU programming error. 

 

 

Check if ABS ECU software programming correct

using scan tool. 

Correct value: 

01901 for SQR 7160 and SQR 7160L

［Note］ 

When no voltage or high voltage at terminal 30, code is set。 

●  Blown ABS system fuse 

●  High or low battery voltage 

● defective ABS electrical harness 

connector 

● defective ABS ECU 

 

 

 

 

Check ABS system 30A fuse

Replace fuse

Measure voltage between

or micro prcrosser recognized an incrorrect input speed signal, code is set.
