connected to one another through CAN communication line for efficient communication. Those modules
control front/rear, driver/passenger seat, cluster with electrical signal and they share information with other
modules. FAM (Front Area Module) set up at engine room controls various lamps (fog lamp, headlamp, stop
lamp, turn signal lamp), wiper and performs system error checking as well. the power of stop lamp is supplied
from the power line through FAM-->stop lamp-->RAM-->lamp in sequence. Controlling stop lamp is
performed at FAM and RAM. FAM transfers power from "HOT AT ALL TIMES power circuit" to stop lamp
switch and via RAM, this power is supplied to stop lamp. Furthermore, RAM senses stop lamp circuit error as
well.

DTC DESCRIPTION

The ECM sets DTC B2521 if open in stop lamp circuit is detected between "HOT AT ALL TIMES power
circuit" and FAM.
