Note: original equipment rear disc brake calipers on units through serial number 127 are no longer available.
replacement of rear disc brake calipers on these units requires retrofitting to new configuration using disc brake change
over kit t6-8013-501.
Note: Quantities given are for four-caliper rear disc brake systems. for two-caliper rear disc brake systems, actual
quantities for calipers and associated equipment is half the indicated quantity.
1. Calipers are installed such that the bleed valve and brake line connection are inboard and the bleed valve points
upward (see insert in FIGURE 49). On four-caliper rear disc brake systems, the forward, right hand caliper is
interchangeable with the aft, left hand caliper and the forward, left hand caliper is inter-changeable with the aft, right
hand caliper. On two-caliper rear disc brake systems, the two calipers are NOT interchangeable.
2. Complete caliper assembly includes caliper, piston, seal, boot and mounting bolt sleeves and bushings as applicable
