No.197 CD-player/radio memory function malfunction   

Malfunction Cause 

Solution 

Power outputline B+ (memory line) and 

ACC (ignition line) wrong connected to 
each other 

Check power source outputline B+ (memory 

line) and ACC (ignition line), whether they are 
wrong connected, and correct it when necessary. 

Power outputline B+ (memory line) 

connected on ACC (ignition line ) 

Check power source output line B+ (memory 

line) whether it is connected on ACC (ignition 
line), and correct it when necessary. (Note: please 
connect according the method showing on 
nameplate) 

CD-player/radio memory 
function malfunction 

CD-player/radio inner memory circuit 

short or open 

Replace CD-player/radio assembly. ` 

 

 

No. 198 CD-player/radio no signal   

Malfunction Cause 

Solution 

Antenna cable disconnected 

Check antenna cable whether it is disconnected 

Dirt on antenna cable conducting point 

Clean conducting point with special cleaning 

solution 

Antenna cable deformed and results poor 

conduct  

Replace with new antenna assembly of same 

specification  

CD-player/radio no signal 

CD-player/radio inner antenna cable 

short circuit, open circuit 

Replace CD-player/radio assembly 

 

Connect B+ (memory line) back to memory power end 

CD-player/radio memory function failure

Malfunction Cause 

Solution 

Loudspeaker retaining screw loose 

Check loudspeaker retaining screws whether they
are loose, and tighten them when necessary. 

Loudspeaker diaphragm deglue 

Check loudspeaker diaphragm whether it is deglue,
and repair or replace loudspeaker when necessary.

Loudspeaker damage or disable to sustain
high power 

Replace loudspeaker or turn down the volume 

A loudspeaker rectifier burnt 

Replace damaged loudspeaker 

CD-player/radio sound 
distortion at large volume

 

CD-player/radio inner short or open circuit

Replace CD-player/radio assembly;

Antenna cable earth lead loose or
poor contact 

Check antenna cable earth lead whether it is loose, replace i
of same specification or clean earth lead conducting point with
special clean solution if necessary. 

Poor local radio signal 

Change channel and test 

Antenna cable earth lead deformed
and results poor conduct 

Replace with new antenna cable of same specification 

Antenna retaining screw loose 

Check antenna cable retainig screws whether they are loose,
and tighten them if necessary. 

Loudspeaker malfunction 

Check loudspeaker, circuit and connector, and remove the
malfunctions according to different appearances. 

CD-player/radio has
