No. 194 Onboard hand-free phone has no sound output (MK)   

Malfunction Cause 

Solution 

Low sound volume set 

Set it louder 

Unmatch cell phone type or interface

Replace it with cell phone or interface matching with 

the vehicle 

Phone mute outputline switch or 

external controlling circuit damaged   

Remove phone mute outputline to inspect the 

damaged part, internal or external controlling circuit 

Dirt on connector conducting point 

Clean conducting point by special cleaning solution or 

replace with new connector of same specification. 

Connector wire core disconnected 

(open circuit) 

Measure loudspeaker outputline by multimeter, to 

check whether it is disconnected. Replace with new 
connector of same specification. 

Short circuit between phone mute 

outputline and earthlead 

Measure the connection between phone mute 

outputline and earthlead by multimeter, to check whether 
there is short circuit. (Remove phone mute outputline to 
inspect the damaged part, internal or external controlling 
circuit) 

Internal CD-player malfunction 

Replace CD-player assembly 

No sound output when 
using onboard hand-free 
phone 

Onboard hand-free phone controller 

malfunction

No. 195 CD-player/radio button out of control   

Malfunction Cause 

Solution 

Button stuck 

Rock around of the button until it senses normal   

Improper operation 

Press RST button by sticker to reset the player, 
then it will be recovered.   

CD-player/radio button out

CD-player/radio inner malfunction 

Replace CD-player/radio assembly 

 

 

No. 196 CD-player/radio button indicator malfunction   

Malfunction Cause 

Solution 

Fuse disconnected 

Replace fuses 

Lamp controlling line loose 

Fix the wire 

 Lamp controlling switch fails or not 

locates at ON position. 

Directly connect the lamp controlling outputline 

to positive pole of vehicle battery, for inspecting 
the switch. If the lamp lightened then the switch 
damaged. The switch shall turn to ON position. 

Lamp controlling wire core disconnected 

(open circuit) 

Measure lamp controlling outputline with 

multimeter, to check whether it is disconnected. If 
there is open circuit, replace connector of same 
specification. 

Dirt on connector conducting point   

Check dirt on connector conducting point, and 

clean it if necessary. 

CD-player/radio button 
indicator malfunction 

CD-player/radio inner circuit short 

connected  

Replace CD-player/radio assembly 

 

Rock around of the button until it senses normal 

CD-player/radio button out of control 

Button stuck 

Improper operation 

CD-player/radio inner malfunction 

Press RST button by sticker to reset the player, then it will be
