For a complete wiring diagram Refer to Section 8W. • When Monitored: • Set Condition: Possible Causes (V37) S/C SWITCH NO.1 SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO BATTERY VOLTAGE (V37) S/C SWITCH NO.1 SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN BETWEEN PCM AND CLOCKSPRING (K900) SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN BETWEEN PCM AND CLOCKSPRING (K900) SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN BETWEEN CLOCKSPRING AND S/C SWITCH (V37) S/C SWITCH NO.1 SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN BETWEEN CLOCKSPRING AND S/C SWITCH CLOCKSPRING SPEED CONTROL SWITCH PCM Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. (Refer to 9 - ENGINE - Diagnostic Test 1. SPEED CONTROL SWITCH VOLTAGE HIGH NOTE: Do not press any of the Speed Control Switch buttons. With a scan tool, read the Speed Control voltage. Is the Speed Control voltage above 4.8 volts? Yes >> Go To 2 No >> Refer to the INTERMITTENT CONDITION Diagnostic Procedure. Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST.
