 Inner side panel 

  

  

 Adhesive: DA 001 730 A1 

  

  

Preparing new part 

    

-  Transfer separating cuts plus 20 

mm to new part for overlap in spot 
weld areas -a- and separate 
hatched area. 

-  Step new part in spot weld area -

a-.

-  Align and secure new part. 

    

WARNING!

 

New part must be installed within 
30 minutes, otherwise bonding 
properties of adhesive will be 
impaired.

 

-  Apply adhesive in spot weld area 

-a-. 

    

-  Weld in side panel from inside, 

RP spot weld seam, SG plug weld 
seam. 

-  Weld in remainder of joint, SG 

continuous seam.

-  Drill holes for SG plug weld seam.

-  Align and secure new part. 

    

-  Clean spot weld area through 

oval hole -1- using wire brush. 

    

-  Weld in reinforcement for lower 

D-pillar, RP-spot weld seam, SG-
plug weld seam
