Install wing -1- without subjecting it to tensile stress.

Carry out following work:
Installation of the wing -1- is carried out in reverse order of re‐

moval.
– Insulation, foam parts and specified torques for bolts -2-

Removing and installing wing bracket

Note

The removal and installation sequence is described for the left

wing bracket. The removal and installation of the right wing brack‐

et is similar.

Removing

Carry out following work:
– Remove front bumper cover

– Undo bolts -1- and remove wing bracket -2-.

Installing

Carry out following work:
– Fit wing bracket -2-.
– Screw in bolts for fastening front wing to wing bracket -2-

– Fit front bumper cover

– Wing bracket is fitted together with wing to bonnet and bumper

⇒ Body Repairs; Rep. gr.  00 ; Body panel gaps/shut lines;

Body - front .

Specified torque for bolts -2-: 6 Nm.
