REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the front bumper 

 

.

2. DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER INLET HOSE AND NO.

1 OIL COOLER OUTLET HOSE

(a) Remove the bolt and move the water by-pass pipe so that the 2

oil cooler hoses can be disconnected.

(b) Disconnect the No. 1 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 1 oil cooler

outlet hose from the transmission oil thermostat.

(c) Disconnect the 2 hoses from the oil cooler tube to remove them.

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the hoses from the tube, support the tube

by hand and be careful to prevent the tube from being
deformed.

3. REMOVE OIL COOLER ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 2 hoses from the No. 2 oil cooler tube.

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the hoses from the tube, support the tube

by hand and be careful to prevent the tube from being
deformed.

(b) Detach the claw to open the No. 1 flexible hose clamp.

(c) Disconnect the 2 hoses from the oil cooler tube and remove the oil cooler accessory assembly.

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the hoses from the tube, support the tube by hand and be careful to prevent the tube

from being deformed.

4. REMOVE OIL COOLER TUBE

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and oil cooler tube.

5. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY (AIR COOLED OIL COOLER)

(a) Remove the cooler condenser

6. REMOVE NO. 2 OIL COOLER TUBE

(a) Disconnect the No. 2 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 2 oil cooler

outlet hose from the cooler condenser.

(b) Remove the bolt and No. 2 oil cooler tube together with the 2 oil cooler hoses.

(c) Remove the No. 2 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 2 oil cooler outlet hose from the No. 2 oil cooler tube.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 2 OIL COOLER TUBE

(a) Install the No. 2 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 2 oil cooler outlet

hose to the No. 2 oil cooler tube.

NOTICE:

(b) Install the No. 2 oil cooler tube together with the 2 oil cooler hoses with the bolt.

Torque:

5.4 N·m {55 kgf·cm, 48in·lbf}

(c) Connect the No. 2 oil cooler inlet hose and No. 2 oil cooler outlet hose to the cooler condenser.

NOTICE:

(a) Install the cooler condenser

3. INSTALL OIL COOLER TUBE

(a) Install the oil cooler tube with the 2 bolts.

Torque:

14 N·m {143 kgf·cm, 10ft·lbf}
