(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

(b) Loosen the bolt and disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly

LH.

(c) Detach the 7 clips and remove the quarter trim panel assembly

LH.

10. REMOVE LOWER QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Regular Cab...

(b) Loosen the bolt and disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly

RH.

(c) Push the 2 locks and remove the trim cover.

(d) Remove the jack assembly.

(e) Detach the 9 clips and remove the lower quarter trim panel

assembly RH.

11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Regular Cab...

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and open the shoulder

belt anchor cover.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Loosen the bolt and disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly

LH.

(c) Disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the

illustration.

(d) Remove the 2 bolts and front seat outer belt assembly LH.

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Do not disassemble the retractor.

(a) Before installing the seat belt, check the ELR.

operation is not as specified, replace the seat belt assembly.

(b) for Passenger's Seat only:

The check should be performed with the outer belt installed.

(1) When the belt is pulled out fully, the belt should automatically

start to retract.

(2) After the belt has fully retracted, the belt should be able to be

pulled out and retracted again.

If the operation is not as specified, replace the belt assembly.
