DISASSEMBLY

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:

After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the

battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal

notice before proceeding with work

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent

airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the inside

handle bezel.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

4. REMOVE FRONT UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL LH

(a) Using a moulding remover A, detach the 2 clips and 5 claws, and

remove the front upper armrest base panel LH.

(b) Disconnect the master switch connector.

5. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

6. REMOVE FRONT LOWER DOOR FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH

(a) Detach the 3 clips and remove the door lower frame bracket

garnish.

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR ARMREST COVER LH

8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

(c) Detach the 9 clips and remove the trim cover. Then disconnect the connector.
