(a) Remove the 2 bolts.

(b) Slide the 3 clamps and disconnect the 3 hoses.

13. DISCONNECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and 2 stud bolts, and disconnect

the cooler compressor assembly.

HINT:

It is not necessary to completely remove the cooler

compressor assembly. With the hoses connected to the cooler
compressor assembly, hang the cooler compressor assembly
on the vehicle body with a rope.

14. DISCONNECT NO. 2 FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the No. 2 fuel tube

sub-assembly.

(a) Slide the 4 clamps and disconnect the 4 hoses from the No. 2

water by-pass pipe.

(b) Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 water by-pass pipe.

18. REMOVE NO. 1 OIL COOLER BRACKET (w/ Oil Cooler) 

19. REMOVE OIL FILTER BRACKET (w/ Oil Cooler) 

20. REMOVE OIL FILTER BRACKET (w/o Oil Cooler)

(a) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and oil filter bracket.

(b) Remove the 2 O-rings.

21. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE 

22. DISCONNECT VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the vane pump assembly.

23. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the generator connector.

(b) Remove the terminal cap and nut, and disconnect the generator wire.

(c) Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness bracket

from the generator assembly.

(d) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and generator assembly.

(e) Remove the 2 stud bolts.

24. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

(a) Slide the 2 clamps and remove the No. 1 water by-pass hose

from the water inlet housing and front water by-pass joint.

25. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the air tube sub-assembly.

(b) Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass

hose and No. 3 water by-pass hose from the water by-pass

pipe sub-assembly.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts and water by-pass pipe sub-assembly.

26. DISCONNECT NO. 9 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

(a) Slide the clamp and disconnect the No. 9 water by-pass hose

from the front water by-pass joint.
