REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:

After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from

the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery

terminal notice before proceeding with work

2. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE 

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER 

5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 

6. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the No. 2 fuel tube from the pressure regulator

 

.

CAUTION:

Put a cloth or equivalent under the pressure regulator.

(b) Disconnect the vacuum sensing hose from the pressure

regulator.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts and the pressure regulator.

(d) Remove the O-ring from the pressure regulator.
