CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - STEREO
COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the J135 navigation receiver assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the J141 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Replace the stereo component amplifier assembly with a known good one

(b) Clear the DTCs

(c) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

navigation system vehicle customization screen.

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally

CHECK AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

(a) Check if the air conditioning system is malfunctioning

Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the air conditioning system.

CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS

(a) Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen.

These air conditioning system items shown as customizable via the navigation receiver assembly vehicle

customization screen can also be changed using the Techstream. In the following steps, the Techstream
will be used.

(1) To match-up the items in the navigation receiver assembly with the items on the Techstream,

check the customize parameters list for the air conditioning system related items that can be

customized via the navigation receiver assembly screen

The items available for customization via the navigation receiver assembly screen can be customized

successfully using the Techstream.
