Detects whether Intelligent Key is inside the vehicle.

Installed in the trunk room.

• Check Intelligent Key relative signal strength

• Confirm vehicle Intelligent Key antenna signal strength

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

 With CONSULT

1. Perform rear parcel shelf antenna INSIDE ANT DIAGNOSIS on “Work Support” of “INTELLIGENT KEY”.

2. Perform “INTELLIGENT KEY” Self Diagnostic Result.
Is rear parcel shelf antenna DTC detected?

YES

>> Refer to 

DLK-63, "Diagnosis Procedure"

.

NO

>> Rear parcel shelf antenna is OK.

• Check Intelligent Key relative signal strength

• Confirm vehicle Intelligent Key antenna signal strength

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to 

DLK-161, "Wiring Diagram"

CHECK REAR PARCEL SHELF ANTENNA INPUT SIGNAL 1

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.

2. Check signal between BCM connector and ground with oscillo-

scope.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Check the condition of harness and connector.

NO

>> GO TO 2

CHECK REAR PARCEL SHELF ANTENNA CIRCUIT

1. Disconnect BCM and rear parcel shelf antenna connector.

2. Check continuity between BCM connector and rear parcel shelf antenna connector.

3. Check continuity between BCM connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3

NO

>> Repair or replace harness between BCM and rear parcel shelf antenna.

CHECK REAR PARCEL SHELF ANTENNA INPUT SIGNAL 2

1. Replace rear parcel shelf antenna (new antenna or other antenna).

2. Connect BCM and rear parcel shelf antenna connector.

>> Replace BCM. Refer to 

BCS-79, "Removal and Installation"

Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to 

BCS-67, "Wiring Diagram"

 CHECK FUSE AND FUSIBLE LINK

Check if the following BCM fuses or fusible link are blown.

Is the fuse or fusible link blown?

YES

>> Replace the blown fuse or fusible link after repairing the affected circuit.

NO

>> GO TO 2

2.

 CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect BCM.

3. Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.

Is the measurement normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

3.

 CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

Does continuity exist?

YES

>> Inspection End.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

Special Repair Requirement
