VSP-52 < DTC/CIRCUIT DIAGNOSIS > APPROACHING VEHICLE SOUND FOR PEDESTRIANS (VSP) WARNING LAMP SIGNAL CIRCUIT APPROACHING VEHICLE SOUND FOR PEDESTRIANS (VSP) WARNING Description INFOID:0000000010121594 VSP warning lamp turns ON/OFF according to VSP warning lamp signal transmitted from VSP control unit. Component Function Check INFOID:0000000010121595 1. CHECK VSP WARNING LAMP OPERATION 1. Connect the CONSULT. 2. Turn power switch ON. 3. Select the “ACTIVE TEST” item “VSP OFF INDICATOR” of “VSP”. 4. Activate “VSP OFF INDICATOR” and check that VSP warning lamp operates. YES >> INSPECTION END NO >> Refer to . Diagnosis Procedure INFOID:0000000010121596 1. CHECK FUSE Check that the following fuse is not fusing. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 2. NO >> Replace the fuse after repairing the applicable circuit. 2. CHECK VSP WARNING LAMP POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 1. Turn power switch OFF. 2. Disconnect front passenger air bag OFF indicator harness connector. 3. Turn power switch ON. 4. Check voltage between front passenger air bag OFF indicator harness connector and ground. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 3. NO >> Repair the harness or connector. 3. CHECK VSP WARNING LAMP SIGNAL CIRCUIT 1. Turn power switch OFF. 2. Disconnect VSP control unit harness connector. 3.
