HAC-26 < DTC/CIRCUIT DIAGNOSIS > [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER] INTAKE DOOR MOTOR 2. Press vent mode ( ) switch. 3. Press REC ( ) switch. 4. Press REC ( ) switch again. 5. Listen for intake door position change (you should hear blower sound change slightly). YES >> Inspection End. NO >> Go to diagnosis procedure. Refer to HAC-26, "Intake Door Motor Diagnosis Procedure" Intake Door Motor Diagnosis Procedure INFOID:0000000009482476 Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to SYMPTOM: • Intake door does not change. • Intake door motor does not operate normally. DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE FOR INTAKE DOOR MOTOR 1. CHECK INTAKE DOOR MOTOR CIRCUITS FOR OPEN AND SHORT TO GROUND 1. Turn ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the front air control harness connector M50 and the intake door motor harness connector M58. 3. Check continuity between front air control harness connector M50 terminals 21, 22 and the intake door motor harness connector M58 terminals 1, 6. 4. Check continuity between front air control harness connector M50 terminals 21, 22 and ground. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 2. NO >> Repair or replace harness as necessary. 2. CHECK FRONT AIR CONTROL FOR INTAKE DOOR MOTOR POWER AND GROUND 1. Reconnect front air control harness connector. 2. Turn ignition switch ON. 3. Check voltage between front air control harness connector M50 terminal 21 and terminal 22 while placing the HVAC system into self-diagnostic mode. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Inspect intake door for binding or mechanical failure. If intake door moves freely, replace the intake door motor. Refer to VTL-18, "Removal and Installation" . NO >> Replace front air control. Refer to VTL-7, "Removal and Installation" .
