Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1.

Operate rear wiper to the auto stop position.

2.

Remove rear wiper arm cover.

3.

Remove rear wiper arm mounting nut.

4.

Raise rear wiper arm, and remove wiper arm from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1.

Clean wiper arm mount as shown in the figure to prevent nut
from being loosened.

2.

Operate rear wiper motor to the auto stop position.

3.

Adjust rear wiper blade position. Refer to 

WW-57, "Adjustment"

.

4.

Install rear wiper arm by tightening the mounting nut.

5.

Inject washer fluid.

6.

Operate rear wiper to the auto stop position.

7.

Check that rear wiper blades stop at the specified position.

8.

Install rear wiper arm cover.

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1.

Remove rear wiper arm cover and rear wiper arm. Refer to 

WW-57, "Exploded View"

.

2.

Remove back door finisher lower. Refer to 

INT-33, "Removal and Installation"

.

3.

Disconnect rear wiper motor connector.

4.

Remove rear wiper motor mounting bolts.

5.

Remove rear wiper motor from the vehicle.

6.

Remove pivot seal.

INSTALLATION

1.

Install pivot seal.

2.

Install rear wiper motor to the vehicle.

3.

Connect rear wiper motor connector.

4.

Operate rear wiper to the auto stop position.

5.

Install back door finisher lower. Refer to 

INT-33, "Removal and Installation"

.

6.

Install rear wiper arm cover and rear wiper arm. Refer to 

WW-57, "Exploded View"

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1.

Apply protective tape (B) around rear nozzle to protect the
painted surface from damage.

2.

Push pawls with a flat-bladed screwdriver (A) wrapped into a
protective tape.

3.

Remove rear washer tube from rear washer nozzle (1).

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.
