< SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS >

[MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER]

COMPRESSOR DOSE DOT OPERATE

Check the blower fan ON signal. Refer to 

HAC-108, "Diagnosis Procedure"

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 7.

NO

>> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts

7.

CHECK THERMO CONTROL AMP.

Check the thermo control amp.  Refer to 

XX-XX, "*****"

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace the BCM. Refer to 

XX-XX, "*****"

.

NO

>> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts

REMOVAL

1.

Remove A/C finisher. Refer to 

IP-13, "Removal and Installation"

.

2.

Remove the air mix door cable from the A/C unit assembly. Refer to 

HAC-120, "AIR MIX DOOR CABLE :

Removal and Installation"

.

3.

Remove the mode door cable from the A/C unit assembly. Refer to 

HAC-120, "MODE DOOR CABLE :

Removal and Installation"

.

4.

Remove the intake door cable from the A/C unit assembly. Refer to 

HAC-119, "INTAKE DOOR CABLE :

Removal and Installation"

.

5.

Remove each door cable and harness connector the A/C control.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

6.

Intake door lever knob

A/C control finisher

8.

Mode dial

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1.

Remove the evaporator. Refer to 

HA-43, "EVAPORATOR : Removal and Installation"

.

2.

Remove the thermo control amp. from the evaporator.

INSTALLATION

Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

• Replace O-ring with new one. Then apply compressor oil to them when installing.
• When install the thermo control amp., set the same position before replacement.
• When remove the thermo control amp., never turn the bracket which is equipped the top of the

thermo control amp. 

• Check for the leakages when recharging refrigerant. Refer to 

HA-18, "Leak Test"

.

Removal and Installation

CAUTION:

Perform lubricant return operation before each refrigeration system disassembly. However, if a large
amount of refrigerant or lubricant is detected, never perform lubricant return operation. Refer to 

HA-

22, "Perform Lubricant Return Operation"

.

REMOVAL

1.

Remove refrigerant pressure sensor. Refer to 

HA-37, "REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR : Removal

and Installation"

.

INSTALLATION

Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

• Replace O-ring with new one. Then apply compressor oil to them when installing.
• Check for leakages when recharging refrigerant. Refer to 

HA-18, "Leak Test"
