>> Repair or replace harness.

CHECK FRONT VENTILATION MOTOR GROUND

1.

Connect front ventilation motor connector and front ventilation seat control unit connector.

2.

Check continuity between front ventilation motor harness connector and ground. 

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace front ventilation motor. Refer to 

SE-93, "Disassembly and Assembly"

.

NO

>> Replace front ventilation seat control unit. Refer to 

SE-93, "Disassembly and Assembly"

.

CHECK FUNCTION

When turning the rear ventilation switch to the LO and HI mode position, check that the rear ventilation motor
is operated in each specific mode.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Rear ventilation motor function is OK.

NO

CHECK REAR VENTILATION MOTOR POWER SUPPLY

1.

Turn ignition switch ON.

2.

Check voltage between rear ventilation motor harness connector and ground.

CHECK REAR VENTILATION MOTOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect rear ventilation motor connector and rear ventilation seat control unit connector.

3.

Check continuity between rear ventilation motor harness connector and rear ventilation seat control unit
harness connector. 

4.

Check continuity between rear ventilation motor harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace rear ventilation seat control unit. Refer to 

SE-100, "Disassembly and Assembly"

.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

3.

CHECK REAR VENTILATION MOTOR SPEED CONTROL SIGNAL

1.

Check voltage between rear ventilation motor harness connector and ground.

CHECK REAR VENTILATION MOTOR SPEED CONTROL SIGNAL CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect rear ventilation motor connector and rear ventilation seat control unit connector.

3.

Check continuity between rear ventilation motor harness connector and rear ventilation seat control unit
harness connector. 

4.

Check continuity between rear ventilation motor harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace rear ventilation seat control unit. Refer to 

SE-100, "Disassembly and Assembly"

.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

5.

CHECK REAR VENTILATION MOTOR GROUND CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect rear ventilation motor connector and rear ventilation seat control unit connector.

3.

Check continuity between rear ventilation motor harness connector and rear ventilation seat control unit
harness connector.

YES

>> Replace rear ventilation motor. Refer to 

SE-100, "Disassembly and Assembly"

>> Replace rear ventilation seat control unit. Refer to 

SE-100, "Disassembly and Assembly"
