Disconnect rear heated seat switch connector.

Check rear heated seat switch terminals.

YES

>> Rear heated seat switch is OK.

NO

>> Replace rear heated seat switch. Refer to 

SE-105, "REAR SEAT : Removal and Installation"

CHECK FUNCTION

Check that the related indicator lamp illuminates when front ventilation seat switch is set to LO or HI position.

YES

CHECK FRONT VENTILATION SEAT CONTROL UNIT INPUT SIGNAL

1.

Turn ignition switch ON.

2.

Check voltage between front ventilation seat control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Front ventilation seat switch circuit is OK.

NO-1

>> LO or HI mode is NG: GO TO 2.

NO-2

>> LO and HI modes are NG: GO TO 3.

CHECK FRONT VENTILATION SEAT SWITCH CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect front ventilation seat switch connector and front ventilation seat control unit connector.

3.

Check continuity between front ventilation seat switch harness connector and front ventilation seat control
unit harness connector. 

4.

Check continuity between front ventilation seat switch harness connector and ground.

CHECK FRONT VENTILATION SEAT SWITCH

Check front ventilation seat switch. 
Refer to

SE-20, "FRONT SEAT : Component Inspection"

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES-1 >> LO or HI mode is NG: GO TO 5.
YES-2 >> LO and HI modes are NG: GO TO 4.
NO

>> Replace front ventilation seat switch. Refer to 

SE-106, "FRONT SEAT : Removal and Installation"

.

4.

CHECK FRONT VENTILATION SEAT SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity front ventilation seat switch harness connector and ground. 

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 6.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

5.

CHECK FRONT VENTILATION SEAT CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT SIGNAL

1.

Connect front ventilation seat control unit connector.

2.

Turn ignition switch ON.

3.

Check voltage between front ventilation seat control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 6.

NO

>> Replace front ventilation seat control unit. Refer to 

SE-93, "Disassembly and Assembly"

.

6.

CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

Refer to 

GI-35, "Intermittent Incident"
