Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to 

SN-66, "Wiring Diagram"

.

1.

CHECK PARKING SPACE MEASUREMENT SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT CONTINUITY

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect sonar control unit connector and parking space measurement switch connector.

3.

Check continuity between sonar control unit connector M60 and parking space measurement switch con-
nector.

*1:Exept for HR engine models with CVT or MR16DDT engine models or Korean models

:2:Only for HR engine models with CVT, MR16DDT engine models and Korean models

4.

Check continuity between sonar control unit connector M60 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 2.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness or connectors.

2.

CHECK PARKING SPACE MEASUREMENT SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORT TO BATTERY

1.

Turn ignition switch ON.

2.

Check voltage between parking space measurement switch connector and ground.

*1:Exept for HR engine models with CVT or MR16DDT engine models or Korean models

:2:Only for HR engine models with CVT, MR16DDT engine models and Korean models

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace parking space measurement switch.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness or connectors.

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to 

SN-66, "Wiring Diagram"

.

1.

CHECK FUSE

Check that the following fuse is not blown.

Is the fuse blown?

YES

>> Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

NO

>> GO TO 2.

2.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect sonar control unit connector M60.

3.

Check voltage between sonar control unit connector M60 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness or connectors.

3.

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Check continuity between sonar control unit connector M60 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Inspection End.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness or connectors.

FRONT SENSOR : Removal and Installation - Front Sonar Sensors

REMOVAL

1.

Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to 

EXT-20, "Exploded View"

.

2.

Check the location of the sonar sensors. Refer to 

SN-100, "FRONT SENSOR : Exploded View"

.

3.

Disconnect the harness connector from front sonar sensor (1).

4.

Release the pawls on the front sonar sensor insert, then remove
the front sonar sensor (1) from the front bumper fascia (2).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL

1.

Remove the rear bumper. Refer to 

EXT-23, "Exploded View"

2.

Check the location of the rear sonar sensors. Refer to 

SN-101, "REAR SENSOR : Exploded View"

3.

Disconnect the harness connector from rear sonar sensor (1).

4.

Release the pawls on the rear sonar sensor insert, then remove
the rear sonar sensor (1) from rear bumper fascia (2).

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1.

Remove the instrument lower panel LH. Refer to 

IP-12, "Exploded View"

.

2.

Check the location of the Sonar Control Unit. Refer to 

SN-102, "Exploded View"

.

3.

Disconnect the harness connector from the Sonar Control Unit.

4.

Remove the screw from the sonar control unit and remove. 

INSTALLATION 

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

BUZZER : Removal and Installation - Front

REMOVAL

1.

Remove the instrument lower panel LH. Refer to 

IP-12, "Exploded View"

2.

Check the location of the Front Buzzer. Refer to 

SN-104, "BUZZER : Exploded View"

.

3.

Remove the screw from the Front Buzzer and remove.

INSTALLATION 

Installation is in the reverse order or removal.

BUZZER : Removal and Installation - Rear

REMOVAL

1.

Remove the rear parcel shelf finisher. Refer to 

INT-29, "Luggage side trim"

.

2.

Check the location of the Rear Buzzer. Refer to 

SN-104, "BUZZER : Exploded View"

3.

Disconnect the harness connector from the rear buzzer.

4.

Remove the clips and the rear buzzer.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
