Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect BCM and fuse block (J/B) connectors.

3.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and fuse block (J/B) harness connector.

4.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 4.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

4.

CHECK IGNITION RELAY

Check ignition relay. Refer to 

PCS-111, "Component Inspection"

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace fuse block (J/B).

NO

>> Replace ignition relay.

5.

REPLACE IPDM E/R

1.

Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to 

PCS-68, "Removal and Installation"

.

2.

Turn ignition switch ON and check the DTC again.

Is DTC "B26F2-00" displayed?

YES

>> Replace BCM. Refer to 

BCS-135, "Removal and Installation"

.

NO

>> INSPECTION END.

CHECK ACCESSORY RELAY POWER SUPPLY

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Remove accessory relay.

3.

Check voltage between accessory relay connector and ground.

Is the inspection normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3.

NO

>> GO TO2.

CHECK ACCESSORY RELAY POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 1

1.

Disconnect BCM connector.

2.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and accessory relay connector.

3.

Check continuity between accessory relay connector and ground.

Is the inspection normal?

YES

>> Replace BCM. Refer to 

BCS-132, "Removal and Installation"

.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

CHECK ACCESSORY RELAY GROUND CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Check continuity between accessory relay connector and ground.

Is the inspection normal?

YES

>> GO TO 4.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

4.

CHECK ACCESSORY RELAY POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 2

Check voltage between accessory relay connector and ground.

CHECK FUNCTION

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect audio unit or NAVI control unit connector.

3.

Turn ignition switch ON.

4.

Select "INTELLIGENT KEY" of "BCM" using CONSULT.

5.

Select "AUTO ACC 2" in "ACTIVE TEST" mode.

6.

Check continuity between audio unit or NAVI control unit harness conector and ground.

Without NAVI  models

With NAVI models

Is the inspection normal?

YES

>> Refer to 

GI-41, "Intermittent Incident"

>> GO TO 2.

CHECK BCM OUTPUT CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect BCM connector.

3.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and audio unit or NAVI control unit connector.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection normal?

>> Replace BCM. Refer to

Select “PUSH SW” in “Data Monitor” mode with CONSULT. 

2.

Check the push-button ignition switch signal under the following conditions.

Is the indication normal?

YES

>> INSPECTION END.

NO

CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL 1

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect push-button ignition switch connector and IPDM E/R connector.

3.

Check voltage between push-button ignition switch harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3.

NO

>> GO TO 2.

2.

CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH CIRCUIT 1

1.

Disconnect BCM connector.

2.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and push-button ignition switch harness connector.

3.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Replace BCM. Refer to 

BCS-132, "Removal and Installation"

.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

3.

CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL 2

Disconnect BCM connector.

Connect IPDM E/R connector.

Check continuity between push-button ignition switch harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 6.

>> Repair or replace harness.

Perform “INSIDE ANT DIAGNOSIS” on Work Support of “INTELLIGENT KEY”.
Refer to

PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULT

Perform Self-Diagnosis Result of “BCM”.

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1.

Remove instrument finisher E. Refer to 

IP-13, "Removal and Installation"

.

2.

Disconnect push-button ignition switch connector and NATS antenna amp. connector.

3.

Disengage NATS antenna amp. fixing pawls and then remove
NATS antenna amp. and push-button ignition switch 

 as a set

from instrument finisher E.

4.

Disengage push-button ignition switch fixing pawl and then
remove push-button ignition switch 

 from NATS antenna amp.

.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.
