CHECK COMBINATION METER OPERATION

Check the operation of the combination meter.
Does the combination meter operate normally?

Yes

>> GO TO 2.

No

>> Refer to 

MWI-3, "Work Flow"

2.

CHECK LOCK WARNING LAMP CIRCUIT

1.

Engage the parking brake.

2.

Turn ignition switch ON.

3.

Depress the brake pedal and take the shift lever out of park.

4.

With the shift lever out of park, attempt to turn ignition switch to the LOCK position.

Does the "LOCK" indicator illuminate?

Yes

>> GO TO 3.

No

>> Refer to 

MWI-3, "Work Flow"

 in combination meter to diagnose the park/neutral position indicator

circuit.

Check vehicle speed signal “VEHICLE SPEED” in “Data Monitor” mode.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES
