MODEL INDICATIONS

The following abbreviations are used in this manual 
for identification of model types.
2000:Indicates models equipped with the 1,998 mL 

<4B11> petrol engine.

2400:Indicates models equipped with the 2,360 mL 

<4B12> petrol engine.

2WD:Indicates the 2-wheel drive vehicles.
4WD:Indicates the 4-wheel drive vehicles.
A/C:Indicates the air conditioner.

CVT: Indicates the continuously variable transmis-

sion.

DOHC: Indicates an engine with the double over-

head camshaft.

INVECS:Indicates the intelligent and innovative vehi-

cles electronic control system.

MIVEC:Indicates the Mitsubishi innovative valve tim-
