DTC 25: 2/4WD Switch 1
DTC 26: 2/4WD Switch 2

.

CIRCUIT OPERATION

• The ABS-ECU is designed to be adaptable to

vehicles equipped with the part time 4WD sys-
tem. ABS-ECU terminal 12 is not connected to
4WD detection switch but grounded to establish
the same condition as the 4WD detection switch
turned to ON. The ABS-ECU monitors the center
differential lock detection switch condition
through terminal 11.

.

ABS DTC SET CONDITIONS
If the ground circuit from ABS-ECU terminal 12 is
open, DTC 25 will be set. If the circuit between the
4WD indicator-ECU and ABS-ECU terminal 11 is
open, DTC 26 will be set. If the ground circuit from
ABS-ECU terminal 12 shorts in the power supply,
DTC 25 and 26 will be set simultaneously.
