LOWER ARM BUSHING REPLACEMENT

1. Use the special tools MB990891, MB99097 and MB991318, 

and the press to drive out and press fit the lower arm 
bushing.

2. Use the special tools MB990891 and MB991411 and the 

press to press fit the lower arm bushing.

3. Position the lower arm rear bushing holes A as shown in the 

illustration to align the holes A and line B, and then use the 
special tools to press the lower arm rear bushings into the 
lower arm. Equalize the protrusion amounts (dimensions C) 
of lower arm rear bushing.

LATERAL ROD BUSHING REPLACEMENT

1. Use special tool MB9900650 to drive out and press in the 

lateral rod bushing.

2. Install the bushing so that the projection length (A) is 

uniform.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

>>A<< HELPER BRACKET INSTALLATION
Install so that the helper bracket mark comes to the front of the 
vehicle.

>>B<< STABILIZER BAR MOUNTING BOLT INSTALLATION
1. To install the stabilizer bar, assemble the joint cups and 

rubber bushings by the order and the specified direction as 
shown in the figure.

2. Install the nut on the stabilizer bar mounting bolt to the 

specified dimensions.

Standard value (A): 15 

− 17 mm (0.6 − 0.7 inch)
