STEP 8. Check the rear door lock actuator (LH) operation.
Remove the rear door lock actuator (LH) to check. (Refer to 
GROUP 42, Door

Q: Is the rear door lock actuator (LH) in good condition?

YES : Go to Step 9.
NO :  Replace the rear door lock actuator (LH). All doors 

should be locked or unlocked.

STEP 9. Check the ETACS-ECU connector C-86 and rear 
door lock actuator (LH) connector E-11 for damage.
Q: Are ETACS-ECU connector C-86 and rear door lock 

actuator (LH) connector E-11 in good condition?
YES : Go to Step 10.
NO :  Repair or replace them. Refer to GROUP 00E, 

Harness Connector Inspection

NOTE: After checking junction block connector C-78 and C-84 
and intermediate connector C-67 and D-19, check the wires. If 
junction block connector C-78 and C-84 and intermediate 
connector C-67 and D-19 are damaged, repair or replace them. 
Refer to GROUP 00E, Harness Connector Inspection 

P.00E-2

Q: Are the harness wires between ETACS-ECU connector 

C-86 and rear door lock actuator (LH) connector E-11 in 
good condition?
YES : Replace the ETACS-ECU. All doors should be locked 

or unlocked.

NO :  Repair them. All doors should be locked or unlocked.

STEP 11. Check the rear door lock actuator (RH) operation.
Remove the rear door lock actuator (RH) to check. (Refer to 
GROUP 42, Door

Q: Is the rear door lock actuator (RH) in good condition?

YES : Go to Step 12.
NO :  Replace the rear door lock actuator (RH). All doors 

should be locked or unlocked.

door lock actuator (RH) connector E-10 for damage.
Q: Are ETACS-ECU connector C-86 and rear door lock 

actuator (RH) connector E-10 in good condition?
YES : Go to Step 13.
NO :  Repair or replace them. Refer to GROUP 00E, 

Harness Connector Inspection
