SRS WARNING LAMP CHECK

1. Check that the SRS warning lamp comes on 

when the ignition switch is turned ON.

2. Check that the SRS warning lamp illuminates for 

about 7 seconds and then goes out.

3. If this is not the cause, check the diagnosis codes.

PASSENGER'S AIR BAG OFF INDICATOR 
LAMP CHECK

1. Check that the passenger’s air bag OFF indicator 

lamp illuminates when the ignition switch is in the 
"ON" position.

2. Check that the passenger’s air bag off indicator 

lamp illuminates for 7 seconds and extinguishes. 
(The lamp does not extinguish when the 
passenger's air bag cut off switch is air bag OFF 
position.)

3. If not, check for diagnosis code.
