STEP 7. Check the wiring harness between C-125 
radio and CD player connector terminal No.3 and 
D-30 audio amplifier connector No.25.

• Check the communication line for open circuit 

and short circuit.

NOTE: Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check 
intermediate connector C-59, and repair if necessary.

Q: Is the check result normal?

YES : 

Go to Step 8.

NO : 

Repair the wiring harness.

STEP 8. Check the following connectors.
Check the following connectors:

• E-19 front door speaker (LH) connector

• E-11 front door speaker (RH) connector

• E-22 rear door speaker (LH) connector

• E-09 rear door speaker (RH) connector

• E-24 tweeter (LH) connector

• E-25 tweeter (RH) connector

Q: Are all the connectors in good condition?

YES : 

Go to Step 9.

NO : 

Repair the defective connector.

STEP 9. Check the speaker or tweeter.
(1) Remove the speaker or tweeter. Refer to 

P.54A-

445

.

(2) Check that the speaker or tweeter outputs the 

noise when the voltage of 5 V is applied to the 
speaker or tweeter connector terminal.

Q: Do the speaker or tweeter output the noise?

YES : 

Go to Step 10.

NO : 

Replace the speaker or tweeter.

STEP 10. Check the wiring harness between the 
speaker or tweeter connector terminal and the 
audio amplifier connector terminal.
Check the communication lines for short circuit.

• <Front door speaker (LH)> Check the wiring har-

ness between E-19 front door speaker (LH) con-
nector terminal No.1, 2 and D-31 audio amplifier 
connector terminal No.8, 18.

NOTE: Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check 

intermediate connectors C-58 and C-134, and 
repair if necessary.

• <Front door speaker (RH)> Check the wiring har-

ness between E-11 front door speaker (RH) con-
nector terminal No.1, 2 and D-31 audio amplifier 
connector terminal No.7, 17.

NOTE: Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check 

intermediate connectors C-58 and C-122, and 
repair if necessary.

• <Rear door speaker (LH)> Check the wiring har-

ness between E-22 rear door speaker (LH) con-
nector terminal No.1, 2 and D-31 audio amplifier 
connector terminal No.1, 9.

NOTE: Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check 

intermediate connector D-14, and repair if neces-
sary.

• <Rear door speaker (RH)> Check the wiring har-

ness between E-09 rear door speaker (RH) con-
nector terminal No.1, 2 and D-31 audio amplifier 
connector terminal No.2, 10.

NOTE: Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check 

intermediate connector D-24, and repair if neces-
sary.

• <Tweeter (LH)> Check the wiring harness 

between E-24 tweeter (LH) connector terminal 
No.1, 2 and D-30 audio amplifier connector termi-
nal No.26, 27.

NOTE: Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check 

intermediate connectors C-16 and C-133, and 
repair if necessary.

• <Tweeter (RH)> Check the wiring harness 

between E-25 tweeter (RH) connector terminal 
No.1, 2 and D-30 audio amplifier connector termi-
nal No.23, 24.

NOTE: Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check 

intermediate connectors C-16 and C-121, and 
repair if necessary.
