REAR COMBINATION LAMP

STEP 6. Check the wiring harness from F-04
<vehicles with rear body> or F-23 <vehicles
without rear body> rear combination lamp (tail:
LH) connector or F-02 <vehicles with rear body>
or F-19 <vehicles without rear body> rear
combination lamp (tail: RH) connector terminal
No.3 to C-218 ETACS-ECU connector terminal
No.15.
NOTE:
Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check junction
block connector C-221 <LHD> or C-204 <RHD> and
intermediate connector F-07 and C-31 <RHD>, and
repair if necessary.
• Check the output lines for open circuit.
Q: Is the check result normal?
YES :
Go to Step 7.
NO :
Repair the wiring harness.
STEP 7. Retest the system.
Check that the tail/stop lamps illuminate normally.
Q: Is the check result normal?
YES :
The trouble can be an intermittent
malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00

use Troubleshooting/inspection Service
Points

NO :
Replace the tail lamp socket.
