Turn the ignition off to the lock position.
Disconnect the Transmission Control Module harness connector.
Disconnect the Line Pressure Sensor harness connector.
Note: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance of the 5-volt Supply circuit from the Line Pressure Sensor
harness connector to the Transmission Control Module harness connector.
Is the resistance above 5.0 ohms?

Yes
→
Repair open 5-volt Supply circuit
Perform 45RFE TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST - VER
1.
No
→
Go To

Turn the ignition off to the lock position.
Disconnect the Transmission Control Module harness connector.
Disconnect the Transmission Solenoid /TRS harness connector
Note: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance of the Pressure Control Solenoid control circuit from the
Transmission Control Module harness connector to the Solenoid/TRS harness con-
nector.
Is the resistance above 5.0 ohms?

Yes
→
Repair the open PCS control circuit.
Perform 45RFE TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST - VER
1.
No
→
Go To

Turn the ignition off to the lock position.
Disconnect the TCM harness connector.
Disconnect the Line Pressure Sensor harness connector.
Note: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance between the 5-volt Supply circuit and ground.
Is the resistance Below 5.0 ohms?

Yes
→
Repair 5-volt Supply circuit short to ground.
Perform 45RFE TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST - VER
1.
No
→
Go To

Turn the ignition off to the lock position.
Disconnect the Transmission Control Module harness connector.
Disconnect the Transmission Solenoid/TRS harness connector.
Note: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.
Measure the resistance between the Pressure Control Solenoid control circuit and
ground.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?

Repair PCS Control circuit short to ground.
Perform 45RFE TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST - VER
