5. Detach the safety belt lower anchor from the underside of the seat.

6. Remove the seat rear retaining bolt covers.

7. Remove the seat.

Remove the retaining bolts.

8. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to

9. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten to 20 Nm.

2. Tighten to 55 Nm.

3. Tighten to 20 Nm.

Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Remove the front seat.

2. Detach the outer side trim panel.

3. Detach the outer side trim panel.

4. Detach the outer side trim panel.

5. Remove the outer side trim panel.

Disconnect the electrical connectors.

6. Detach the inner side trim panel.

7. Remove the inner side trim panel.

8. Remove and discard the cable tie.

9. Detach the recliner motor electrical connector.

10. Disconnect the recliner motor electrical connector.
