A4: CHECK THE RIGHT-HAND FRONT WSS POWER CIRCUIT FOR HIGH RESISTANCE Disconnect the wheel speed sensor. Is the resistance greater than 5 ohms? REPAIR the high resistance circuit. For additional information, refer to the wiring diagrams. CLEAR the DTC, test No GO to A5 . A5: CHECK THE RIGHT-HAND FRONT WSS POWER CIRCUIT FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO BATTERY Measure the voltage between RF01, pin 01 (R) and GROUND. Is the voltage greater than 3 volts? REPAIR the short circuit. For additional information, refer to the wiring diagrams. CLEAR the DTC, test the system No GO to A6 . A6: CHECK THE RIGHT-HAND FRONT WSS POWER CIRCUIT FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO GROUND Measure the resistance between RF01, pin 01 (R) and GROUND. Is the resistance less than 10,000 ohms? REPAIR the short circuit. For additional information, refer to the wiring diagrams. CLEAR the DTC, test the system No INSTALL a new WSS, Front Wheel Speed Sensor (206-09 Anti-Lock Control - Stability Assist, Removal and Installation). CLEAR the DTC, test the system for normal operation. If the DTC is repeated, please check part is not on any form PINPOINT TEST B : DTC C1155, C1233; LEFT-HAND FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR (WSS) CIRCUIT FAILURE CAUTION: To protect against over-voltage and static discharge, the contacts of the wheel speed sensor must not be touched by hand. • NOTE: W here the Jaguar approved diagnostic system is available, use datalogger to monitor the wheel speed sensor values when driving TEST CONDITIONS DETAILS/RESULTS/ACTIONS B1: CHECK THE LEFT-HAND FRONT WSS SENSOR CIRCUIT FOR HIGH RESISTANCE Make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position. Is the resistance greater than 5 ohms? REPAIR the high resistance circuit. For additional information, refer to the wiring diagrams. CLEAR the DTC, test No GO to B2 . B2: CHECK THE LEFT-HAND FRONT WSS SENSOR CIRCUIT FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO BATTERY Measure the voltage between LF01, pin 02 (W) and GROUND. Is the voltage greater than 3 volts? REPAIR the short circuit. For additional information, refer to the wiring diagrams. CLEAR the DTC, test the system No GO to B3 . B3: CHECK THE LEFT-HAND FRONT WSS SENSOR CIRCUIT FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO GROUND Measure the resistance between LF01, pin 02 (W) and GROUND. Is the resistance less than 10,000 ohms? REPAIR the short circuit. For additional information, refer to the wiring diagrams. CLEAR the DTC, test the system No GO to B4 . B4: CHECK THE LEFT-HAND FRONT WSS POWER CIRCUIT FOR HIGH RESISTANCE Disconnect the wheel speed sensor. Is the resistance greater than 5 ohms? REPAIR the high resistance circuit. For additional information, refer to the wiring diagrams. CLEAR the DTC, test No GO to B5 . B5: CHECK THE LEFT-HAND FRONT WSS POWER CIRCUIT FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO BATTERY Measure the voltage between LF01, pin 01 (N) and GROUND. Is the voltage greater than 3 volts? REPAIR the short circuit.
