Front Vertical Accelerometer (86.56.53)   

Removal  

 

1 . Remove the wheel and tire assemble.

2 . Remove the right-hand side front fender splash shield.

3 . Disconnect the front vertical accelerometer electrical connector.

. 

 

  CAUTION: Make sure the vertical accelerometer is not dropped in transit as damage 

will be caused to internal components. 

 

 

Remove the front vertical accelerometer.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Installation  

 

1 . To install, reverse the removal procedure. 

  

 

Tighten to 4 Nm.

Removal  

 

1 . Using the Jaguar approved diagnostic system depressurize the air suspension. 

 

 

2 . Disconnect the battery ground cable.

3 . Remove the luggage compartment floor covering.  

  

1) Remove the luggage compartment floor covering securing screws.

 

  

2) Remove the luggage compartment floor covering.

 

 

 

 

 

4 . NOTE:

Remove the luggage compartment side trim panel. 

 

 

 

5 . NOTE:

Remove the air spring trim panel.  

 

 

 

6 . NOTE:

Disconnect the air spring electrical connector. 

 

 

 

7 . NOTE:

Detach the air pipe.
