Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

FRONT DOOR SASH MOLDING

1.

Remove door mirror assembly. Refer to 

MIR-52, "DOOR MIRROR ASSEMBLY : Removal and Installa-

tion"

. 

2.

Remove front door weather strip.

3.

Release roof portion of glass run.

4.

Remove front door sash molding (1) connection between door
panel and molding from glass run side, using a remover tool (A).

CAUTION:

Do not use a material for remover tool (A) which could dam-
age door panel.

Remove front door sash molding.

REAR DOOR SASH MOLDING

1.

Remove rear door weather-strip.

2.

Release roof portion of glass run.

3.

Remove rear door sash molding (1) connection between door
panel and molding from glass run side, using a remover tool (A).

CAUTION:

• Apply protection tape (B) around the door sash.
• Do not use a material for remover tool (A) which could

damage door panel.

4.

Remove rear door sash molding.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL

FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE MOLDING

1.

Remove front door finisher.
• Driver side: Refer to 

INT-11, "DRIVER SIDE : Removal and Installation"

.

• Passenger side: Refer to 

INT-14, "PASSENGER SIDE : Removal and Installation"

. 

2.

Remove door mirror assembly. Refer to 

MIR-52, "DOOR MIRROR ASSEMBLY : Removal and Installa-

tion"

.

Remove front door outside molding (1) fixing screw (A).

4.

Insert a remover tool (A) into lower space.

5.

Disengage pawls of fixing front door outside molding (1) with flat
blade screw driver (B).

CAUTION:

Apply protection tape (C) around outer circumference of
front door.

6.

Twist and pull up to upper side, and then remove front door out-
side molding (1).

REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOLDING

1.

Fully open door window.

2.

Insert a remover tool (A) into lower space.

3.

Disengage pawls of fixing rear door outside molding (1) with flat
blade screw driver (B).

CAUTION:

Apply protection tape (C) around outer circumference of
rear door.
