9. Raise the vehicle on the hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & 

HOISTING .  

10. Remove the bolts and remove the engine mount.

11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Removal & Installation 

1. Remove the fan shroud. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING - F150 

PICKUP .  

2. Remove the generator. For additional information, refer to GENERATOR .  

3. Install the special tool on the engine using the generator mounting holes.

4. Raise the vehicle. For additional information, refer to JACKING & HOISTING .  

5. Remove the starter motor. For additional information, refer to STARTER MOTOR .  

6. Remove the RH motor mount bolt.
