FRONT BRAKE DISC 

Removal (2WD) 

1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheels.  

2. Remove front brake caliper and pads. See FRONT BRAKE CALIPER & PADS .  

3. Remove anchor plate. See Fig. 56 .  

4. ON 4WD vehicles, remove brake disc. See Fig. 8 .  

5. On 2WD vehicles, remove grease cap, cotter pin, spindle nut, washer and outer bearing. See Fig. 7 , Fig. 

6 or Fig. 57 .  

6. Remove disc from spindle. If necessary, remove grease seal and inner bearing. See Fig. 7 , Fig. 6 and Fig. 

58 .  

NOTE:

If caliper does not require service, it is not necessary to remove brake hose 
from caliper unless indicated.
