BRAKE PEDAL 

Removal & Installation 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable  

2. Remove the instrument panel opening cover. See Fig. 62 .  

3. Remove the stoplight switch hairpin clip. See Fig. 30 .  

4. Slide the stoplight switch, booster push rod and the bushing off the brake pedal pin. See Fig. 31 .  

5. Remove the brake pedal-to-accelerator pedal cable from the accelerator pedal. See Fig. 39 .  

6. Disconnect the brake pedal motor harness connector. See Fig. 40 .
