4. Position the lumbar adjuster control. Install the two mounting screws.

5. Install the seat adjuster control knobs, covers and the seat side trim panel screws. 

1. Install the three seat side trim panel attachment screws.  

2. Install the lumbar control knob.  

3. Install the seat recliner handle screw and handle.

6. Reactivate the supplemental restraint system (SRS) deactivation/reactivation procedure. Refer to 

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEACTIVATION AND REACTIVATION . 

7. With all the restraint system diagnostic tools removed, prove out the supplemental restraint system (SRS). 

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, read and follow all 
warnings, cautions, notes and instructions in the supplemental 
restraint system (SRS) deactivation/reactivation procedure.

WARNING:

The restraint system diagnostic tool is for restraint system service 
only. Remove from the vehicle prior to road use. Failure to remove 
could result in injury and possible violation of vehicle safety 
standards.

Refer to SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK . 

8. Check the active restraints for correct operation. Refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .  

SEAT BACKREST - REAR SEAT 

Removal 

1. Fold down both rear seat cushions.  

2. Remove the rear seat back (66600). 

1. Push in on the wire on the bottom of both sides to disengage.  

2. Lift the rear seat back upward and remove.

Installation 

1. Install the lower wires into the channels located on the rear wall.  

2. Locate the upper outer and middle wires into the upper snaps and push down.  

3. Check the active restraint system for correct operation. Refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
