48. Place the synchronizer sleeves in neutral.

49. Apply a small bead of silicone rubber to the case cover mating surface.  

50. Install the case cover. 

1. Position the case cover.  

2. Install the bolts.

51. Install the wiring harness. Connect the backup lamp switch connector, VSS connector, and HEGO sensor 

connectors. 

1. Connect the reverse lamp electrical connector.  

2. Connect the OSS electrical connector.  

3. Install the HEGO sensor electrical connectors.

52. Install the clutch slave cylinder.
