NOTE:

Apply a light coat of fluid to the countershaft spacer, shim and fluid baffle.

17. Install the bearing shim, fluid baffle and countershaft spacer onto the front bearing retainer. 

NOTE:

Apply a light coat of fluid to the seal lips. Be careful not to damage the 
seal when installing the retainer.

18. Install the front bearing retainer. 

1. Position the front bearing retainer.  

2. Install the bolts.  

19. Install the fluid passage.

20. Install the fluid passage bolt.
