SYNCHRONIZERS 

Disassembly 

1. Disassemble the synchronizer. 

1. Remove one retaining spring.  

2. Flip synchronizer over and remove opposite retaining spring.  

3. Remove the three insert keys.  

4. Remove the sleeve.  

2. Inspect all synchronizer components for wear and damage.

Assembly 

1. Follow disassembly procedure in reverse order. 

NOTE:

Match mark parts for assembly.
