34. Position the safety belt through the driver side lower corner trim panel.

35. Position the driver side lower corner trim panel and push in near the door jamb, seating the retaining 

clips. Install the three pin-type retainers.

36. Install the weather-stripping and the driver door scuff plate.

37. Install the driver side corner upper trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL -- CORNER, UPPER . 

38. Install the driver side safety belt guide. 

1. Position the safety belt guide.  

2. Install the nut. 

WARNING:

Make sure that the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to 
installation.

CAUTION: Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide cover for damage. If the 

shoulder safety belt guide cover is damaged or if it does not 
remain closed, install a new shoulder safety belt guide cover.
