8. Hold the A/C clutch hub with the special tool.  

9. Tighten the bolt.  

10. Measure and adjust the clutch air gap by removing or adding the A/C clutch hub spacer.

11. Install the A/C compressor. Refer to AIR CONDITIONING (A/C) COMPRESSOR-4.2L or refer to 

AIR CONDITIONING (A/C) COMPRESSOR-4.6L AND 5.4L .

Removal 

1. Remove the A/C clutch (2884) from the A/C compressor (19703). Refer to CLUTCH AND CLUTCH 

FIELD COIL .  

2. Remove the shaft seal felt from the nose of the A/C compressor with the special tool.
