7. Disconnect the door lock actuator electrical connector.

8. Remove the door lock actuator rivet.

9. Disconnect the actuating rods. 

1. If equipped, disconnect the actuating rod from the lock cylinder.  

2. Open the locking clip.  

3. Disconnect the exterior door handle actuating rod from the front door latch.

10. Position the front door latch aside.

Remove and discard the screws.

Position the latch aside.
