ABS 

Module

CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1342 

is retrieved, INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to 

ANTI-LOCK CONTROL-REAR - F150 PICKUP for 

rear only ABS or REFER to ANTI-LOCK CONTROL-

4-WHEEL - F150 PICKUP for four-wheel ABS. 

CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

Module

CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1342 

is retrieved, INSTALL a new central security module. 

REFER to MODULE-CENTRAL SECURITY 

MODULE (CSM) . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the 

self-test.

ECU is Defective

CTM

CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1342 

is retrieved, INSTALL a new CTM. REFER to 

MODULE-GENERIC ELECTRONIC 

(GEM)/CENTRAL TIMER (CTM) . CLEAR the 

DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

ECU is Defective

CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1342 

is retrieved, INSTALL a new GEM/CTM. REFER to 

MODULE-GENERIC ELECTRONIC 

(GEM)/CENTRAL TIMER (CTM) . CLEAR the 

DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

RCM

CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1342 

is retrieved, INSTALL a new RCM. REFER to AIR BAG 

RESTRAINT SYSTEMS - F150 PICKUP . CLEAR the 

DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

is retrieved, INSTALL a new IC Module. REFER to
