11 17 INTERIOR LIGHTING, D AY /SLEEPER CAB CAB STEPWELL L IGHTING/INTERIOR LIGHTING DOOR SWITCH, DRIVER ’SS ID E If the door on the d river ’s s ide is opened, door switch E514 is activated (connection between 1 and 2). A a result, there is a voltage on C062, C063 and D91 1 through fuse E045 (interior lighting fuse), w ire 1 107, contacts 1-2o f door switch E514, wire 2647, diode D783 (driver ’s s ide interior lighting d iode), wire 2600. This activates the cab s tepwell lighting o n both the driver ’s s ide (C062) and the c o-driver ’s s ide (C063). T he VIC (D900) also receives a v oltage on connection point 1, connector 595. The V IC then turns o n the cab lighting (C1 19/C192), p rovided the s witch is in the c orrect position, activating it via connection point 4, connector 492. When the door on the d river ’ss id ei sc lo s e d (c o n ta c ts 1-2i n te rr u p te d ),t h e v o lt a g e to connection point 1, connector 595 of the V IC is lost. C onnection point 4, connector 592 will then continue to be supplied w ith power for another 9 s econds approximately . After approximately 9 seconds, the supply v oltage is switched of f and the lights g o out. If the v ehicle ignition is switched on (contact made) within 9 s econds, the power supply to connection point 4, connector 592 of the V IC will be switched of f immediately . The lighting will be switched of f immediately . If the a larm system (D91 1) sends a v oltage to connection point 13, connector 594 of the V IC to indicate that the doors have locked c orrectly , the lighting w ill also go of f immediately . CAB STEPWELL L IGHTING/INTERIOR LIGHTING DOOR SWITCH, CO -DRIVER ’S SIDE If the door on the c o-driver ’s s ide is opened, door switch E515 is activated (connection between 1 and 2). As a result, there is a lso a v oltage on both C062 and C063 through fuse E045 (interior lighting fuse), w ire 1 107, contacts 1-2o f door switch E515, wire 2600. This activates the cab stepwell lighting o n both the driver ’ss id e (C062) and the c o-driver ’s s ide (C063). INTERIOR LIGHT WITH M AP -R EADING LIGHT (DRIVER ’S S IDE AND CO -DRIVER ’S SIDE) There is a c ombined interior light and map-reading light on both s ides of the c ab against the roof. T he lamps operate in the same way o n the driver ’s s ide and co-driver ’s side. A v oltage is applied to c onnection point 2 o f C1 19 and C192 respectively through fuse E045, wire 1 107. Depending on the s witch position, the interior light or the m ap-reading light is now switched on individually or together . T OOL COMP ARTMENT L IGHTING When the tool compartment is opened, tool compartment light switch E528 is activated (connection between 1 and 2). A s a result, there is a voltage on C067 through fuse E142 (accessories before contact fuse), w ire 1 154, c o n ta c ts 1-2o fs to ra g e c o m partment light switch E528, wire 2608. This switches on the tool compartment light. T he tool compartment light works independently of the c ontact. BUNK LAMP The bunk light C1 15 is switched on by a switch in the light fitting. The bunk light works independently of the c ontact. V o ltage is applied to c onnection point 1 o f C 1 1 5 through fuse E045, wire 1 107. When the s witch is operated (connection between contacts 1 and 2), connection point 2 is c onnected to earth. T he lamp will now switch on. 200332 ᓻ 3-82 5 CHANGES IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Changes in the electrical system from chassis number 0E608863 CF65/75/85 series |
