11 The V IC checks whether the P T O is actually switched on. This takes p lace as follows: When the P T O has been switched on, F088 is operated mechanically . C ontacts 1-2o fF 0 8 8 close. Connection point 1 1 of the V IC is now connected to earth. T he VIC then sends a message to the D IP and the “PT O a ctive ” warning is a ctivated. If the P T O does NOT switch on, F088 is NOT operated and connection point 1 1 is NOT connected to earth. A fter a period o f time p rogrammed in the V IC a ‘message ’ is sent to the D IP and the “PT O fault ” warning symbol is activated. V a lve B 246 is now no longer energised and the P T O is switched of f. SWITCHING OFF P T O 2 B re a k in gc o n ta c ts 5-1o fC 7 5 1 s w it c h e s th e PT O 2 of f. This interrupts the voltage on connection point 22 of D900. V a lve B 246 is no longer energised and the P T O is switched of f. Switch F088 is re-opened (connection between contacts 2 and 1 n o longer exists). The earth connection with D900 is interrupted and the light goes out.
