1. Drain the engine oil.

2. Remove the oil filter.

3. Remove the oil filter adapter (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the oil filter adapter (1).

Tighten: Tighten the oil filter adapter to 55 N.m (40 lb ft).

NOTE:

Refer to Fastener Notice .

2. Install the oil filter.

3. Refill the engine oil. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities and/or Fluid and

Lubricant Recommendations .
